Tree and shrub pruning can address dead or broken branches, low-hanging limbs, crossing or rubbing limbs, crowded canopies, and branches growing too close to roofs, driveways, or walkways. As part of our tree care services, we consider the plant’s structure, surrounding property, clearance needs, and natural form before recommending selective pruning. The goal is to improve clearance, support better structure, and maintain a balanced, natural appearance.

Some trees develop weak branch unions, multiple main stems, heavy limbs, or structural concerns that may benefit from supplemental support. Tree cabling uses high-strength cable installed between selected limbs or stems to help limit excessive movement and distribute some of the stress placed on weaker areas. Cabling does not repair damaged wood or eliminate all risk, and it is not appropriate for every tree.

Tree removal may be appropriate when a tree is badly damaged, appears to be declining, has developed structural concerns, is poorly located, or no longer fits the needs of the property. We evaluate the tree, nearby structures, access, surrounding landscaping, and property conditions before determining an appropriate removal approach. The proposed work and what is included will be clearly explained in the estimate.

New trees and shrubs can replace removed plants, add shade or privacy, improve an open area, and contribute to the long-term appearance of a property. We consider the proposed planting location, available space, nearby structures, and how the plant may fit the area as it grows. Trees and shrubs are installed at an appropriate depth with attention to the surrounding planting area.

Severe weather can leave fallen limbs, hanging branches, damaged trees, blocked access areas, and tree debris throughout a property. We assess the visible damage and surrounding conditions before discussing the appropriate next steps. Depending on the situation, the work may involve removing fallen debris, pruning damaged branches, or removing a tree that cannot reasonably remain in place.

Properly placed mulch may help conserve soil moisture, moderate soil temperature, reduce competition from weeds, and protect areas around trees and shrubs from mower or trimmer contact. We create clean, defined mulch areas while keeping mulch away from direct contact with trunks and main stems. Mulch should be spread around the planting area rather than piled against the bark.
